I graduated as a translator and interpreter from the Antwerp Hoger Instituut voor Vertalers en Tolken. I have also completed a post-graduate course in business administration and attend courses and workshops every year to keep abreast of new developments and expand my professional knowledge.
I am a member of NGTV, the Netherlands Association of Interpreters and Translators.
I have been doing legal translations for more than 25 years now, 13 of which as in-house translator for a firm of lawyers, civil-law notaries and tax consultants now named BakerMcKenzie. I subsequently set up and have worked in my own translation practice for law firms, notaries and businesses.
In addition to working as a translator, I regularly work as an interpreter for notarial transactions.
